Terms and Conditions

  • i. “The Company” shall mean Classical Gas Ltd. “You”, “Your”, “Customer”, “Purchaser” shall mean any person or corporate body who orders goods from this site.

  • ii. By using this website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Any breach of these terms and conditions will constitute a termination of any agreement.

    • Prices and Payment

      The price for goods displayed for sale on this site include VAT at the current rate and delivery to mainland UK destinations only. The Company cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full. Payment may be made by any of the options advertised, but where payment is made by cheque your order will only be confirmed once the cleared funds are available. Upon receipt of payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail to the address you have provided; at this point the agreement is made.

    • Delivery

      You will be advised of delivery via e-mail. Availability of the item ordered will be confirmed in our acceptance of your order. Please note, availability is as advised to us by the manufacturer and may be subject to change. We will do our best to deliver within the specified time but this cannot be guaranteed. The Company will not be held responsible or found guilty of breach of contract if there is a delay in delivery, nor will we be responsible for any consequential losses which may be incurred as a result of late delivery. Late delivery does not give you the right to cancel special order goods. Some of our products, particularly the cast iron radiators, are extremely heavy and will require reasonably fit people to be available when being delivered.

    • Exchanges and Cancellations

      Many of our radiators (particularly those in a coloured finish) are made to order and, once the order has been accepted by the manufacturer, cannot be exchanged or cancelled. Please order with care.

      All other goods once delivered may only be returned for a full refund with the prior agreement of and written authorisation from the Company. This will only be allowed if the goods are returned undamaged, in the original packaging and suitable for re-sale. The Company will make a charge for transport, handling and administration which will be advised at the time we accept the cancellation.

      The customer may modify or cancel an order for goods available from manufacturers stock prior to delivery providing he/she accepts any charges made by the manufacturer for such modification or cancellation. These charges (if any) will be notified at the time of such modification or cancellation.

    • Faulty Goods

      If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery we will exchange or refund in full. Wherever possible, goods must be examined at the time of delivery and if there is any evidence of damage they must not be accepted or signed for. If it is not possible to examine the goods the carriers note should be marked “Not examined”. Return of faulty goods will be at our expense.

      Always check your product within 24 hours of receipt. If the product is found to be damaged or incomplete please advise us immediately but in any case within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to do so will invalidate any claim. We will arrange for collection of the damaged item and will arrange for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible.

    • Guarantees

      The length of the guarantee will depend on the product chosen. The validity of the guarantee offered by the manufacture is subject to the product being correctly installed by an appropriately qualified engineer. We reserve the right to request full details of the installer. The guarantee in all cases shall be restricted to the free of charge replacement or repair of the failed product only.

      Our liability will under no circumstances extend beyond the repair or replacement of the product supplied by us.

    • General

      Any dispute arising in connection with the use of this website will be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

      Any reliance you place on information contained on this website shall be at your sole risk and it is your responsibility to ensure that any product about which information is published on this website meets your requirements. The purchaser is entirely responsible for the type of equipment purchased and for the capacity of the equipment to deal with the proposed application. We do not accept any liability for incorrect calculations, incompatible designs or advice which may result in the equipment supplied not being suitable for the purpose for which it was purchased.
